At Studio 5•6•7•8 we believe in being professional in our classes by providing the best possible dance education to our students. Having a dress code is one of the criteria in achieving that goal. A dress code contributes to a structured environment, minimizes distractions, and helps to ensure dancers’ safety in class. For teachers, a dress code helps in correcting body alignment, stretched feet and extended knees that cannot be seen when draped in baggy sweats.
The list below outlines the proper attire that all dancers require. If a dancer has multiple classes in one night, we ask that they wear a bodysuit and tights to ALL classes, so there is no need to change between classes.
Fitted athletic tanks/tops and leggings are an acceptable alternative to a bodysuit. As a general rule, the top must meet the bottom and the bottom must meet the top. Bodysuits must be worn for Ballet.
All the items listed can be purchased at “Starburst Dancewear” located at 1175 Wilson Street East, Ancaster. 905-304-0169
